FHS Earns State Recognition
The Illinois PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) Network is pleased to announce that 677 Illinois schools have earned recognition for their PBIS implementation during the 2012-13 school year. PBIS is a proactive systems approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture and needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional, and academic success.
Several Freeport schools, including Freeport High School, were recognized among the 328 schools earning the Emerging level for building the foundation for school-wide PBIS implementation.
